Описание аверса	Costa Rican Type VII countermark applied within a small incuse circle of approximately 5 mm diameter, depicting a standing lion in relief encircled by the Latin legend 'HABILITADA POR EL GOBIERNO', indicating official government authorization. The countermark is struck onto the host coin's field, partially obscuring the underlying design. The punch impression is characteristic of the emergency coinage series issued by the Costa Rican government to validate foreign silver coinage for domestic circulation.
