| 备注 |
The Banco Provincial de Santa Fé operated out of Rosario, and this note reflects the fractured provincial banking reality of 1870s Argentina, where individual provinces chartered their own banks and issued currency well before any federal consolidation of monetary authority. The Real Plata Boliviana as a denomination is a telling detail — it anchored value to the old Bolivian silver real, a unit already fading from practical use by 1874, suggesting this note was designed partly for populations in the interior still thinking in pre-metric colonial denominations.
The PS820 / PS820A split in the Pick catalog distinguishes place-of-issue text only — "ROSARIO" versus "SANTA FÉ" — with the printing origin identical for both.
