| Obverse description | Crowned quartered shield of Castile and León, displaying alternating castles and lions within the four quarters, surmounted by a royal crown. The mint mark and assayer initial appear to the left of the shield, with the denomination numeral partially visible at the periphery. The design is characteristic of the macuquina (cob) coinage style, with irregular flan edges and bold, slightly off-center striking. A post-mint piercing is present at the lower field. |

| Reverse description | Bold cross pattée divides the field into four quadrants, with the legend VLTR(AQUE) partially visible in the upper quarters flanking the cross, and the date 1733 appearing in the lower left quadrant. The assayer initial P is present in the lower right quadrant, consistent with the Potosí mint. Wavy lines representing the sea appear below the cross in the lower field, and a partial circular border legend in Latin surrounds the design, all rendered in the characteristic irregular style of hammered macuquina coinage. |
