| Reverse description | The stainless steel centre features the stylised effigy of the numeral '1' overlaid with a curved band bearing the denomination legend REAL, rendered in the standard design of the Brazilian Real coinage series. A cluster of five-pointed stars flanks the upper right of the curved band, and a wavy line motif appears at the base of the centre, symbolising the Southern Cross constellation and national emblems. The date 2012 is inscribed in the lower field of the centre. The bronze-plated steel ring is decorated with an incuse geometric pattern of diagonal hatched lines arranged in repeating segments around the full circumference. |
