Obverse description Central device depicts the National Coat of Arms of the Argentine Confederation, rendered without azure tincture and absent the two flanking rosettes. A Phrygian liberty cap, symbol of republican freedom, is shown in flight oriented to the left, surmounting the oval cartouche. The shield is surrounded by laurel branches, consistent with the provincial coinage style of Córdoba. The peripheral legend encircles the design within the coin's field.
