| 备注 |
Daniel González y Ca. was a private commercial house operating out of Mendoza, and this 1866 emission belongs to a period when Argentine provincial and merchant-issued quasi-currency filled gaps left by the chronic shortage of small-denomination specie across the Andean trade corridor. Bolivia's silver reales circulated alongside these notes in the cuyo region, which explains the denomination framing — "Moneda Boliviana" was a reference to the accepted specie standard, not an indication of Bolivian state involvement.
Private merchant notes from Mendoza of this vintage are genuinely uncommon survivors. The province's paper issues from the 1860s suffered heavy attrition through redemption, fire, and simple discard once convertibility became uncertain.
