Obverse description Crowned bust of Ferdinand II facing left, wearing a three-pointed crown adorned with fleurs-de-lis finials, with flowing hair rendered in fine parallel strokes. The effigy is set within a beaded inner circle, with the royal legend running in the outer field. The portrait is executed in the late Gothic hammered style typical of Aragonese coinage of the early sixteenth century.
