Reverse description Central field features a quartered shield within a four-lobed quatrefoil cartouche, displaying alternating castles of Castile and lions of León in the four quarters, all in high relief. The mint mark 'S' for Seville appears flanking the shield, with no assayer's initials present, as characteristic of this emission. The date 1730 appears prominently at the top of the legend, and the circular Latin inscription HISPANIARUM * REX * S * 1730 surrounds the central device, punctuated by rosette stops. The milled collar is clearly visible at the coin's periphery.
