| 表面の説明 | The Royal Arms of Castile and León displayed as a quartered shield, featuring alternating castles and lions within the quadrants, characteristic of the macuquina (cob) coinage issued under Felipe IV. The shield is surrounded by a partial circular legend in Latin, of which only fragmentary characters are visible on this cob flan due to the irregular striking. The mint mark and assayer initial appear to one side of the shield. The overall design is rendered in the bold, somewhat crude style typical of hand-struck colonial silver cobs of the early seventeenth century. |
