Descrizione del dritto	Draped bust of Carlos III facing right, depicted in a somewhat crude provincial style characteristic of New World proclamation coinage, with curled wig and lace cravat visible at the truncation. The circular legend CAROLUS · III · D · G · HISPAN · ET · IND · REX runs along the periphery, separated from the portrait by a plain inner field. The relief is relatively low and the engraving reflects the hand of a colonial craftsman rather than a metropolitan die-cutter. A beaded or toothed border frames the entire obverse design.
