Obverse description Central field dominated by a heart-shaped shield bearing the diagonal bar (bend sinister) of the Baden arms, rendered in low relief characteristic of the bracteate hammered technique. The shield is set within a plain inner circle, itself enclosed by a prominent outer border of raised beads running the full circumference of the flan. No legend or inscription is present; the design is purely armorial.
