| Reverse description | Kufic Arabic legend arranged in multiple horizontal lines within a rectangular frame or cartouche, surrounded by a beaded border encircling the entire flan. The inscription is clearly delineated by ruled lines dividing the text into registers, a format typical of Almoravid-influenced Andalusian coinage. The field beyond the cartouche is plain, and the beaded rim is well-preserved around most of the circumference. The die work reflects the small-module hammered technique standard for the quirat denomination of this period. |
