| Obverse description | Head of a bovine animal (ox or bull) facing right in low relief, rendered in the archaic Italic style characteristic of early Roman-allied aes grave coinage. The modelling is bold but summary, with large circular eye, prominent muzzle, and flowing mane indicated by incised lines above the neckline.
