| Beschrijving keerzijde | Standing figure, likely Victory or an emperor in military dress, rendered in a barbarous style facing left or right with arms raised or outstretched, imitating the reverse type of Roman quinarii associated with Elagabalus. The surrounding garbled legend reads AOIPΛCV VOIPAIV, a barbarian corruption of the original Roman reverse inscription. A suspension hole is visible at the top of the flan, consistent with the obverse. The engraving is coarse and schematic, typical of Germanic imitative coinage produced for prestige or ritual purposes rather than monetary circulation. The field is plain and the flan is irregular in shape. |
