| Obverse description | The right half of the note is dominated by an intaglio portrait vignette of General José María Orellana in military uniform, rendered in dark green against a lighter green guilloche field, with an identification inscription below. The left half carries a large numeral "1" guilloche rosette in the centre, a quetzal bird vignette in multicolour at upper left, a pre-Columbian decorative motif underprint in red-brown, and a transparent hexagonal polymer window at left. Two facsimile signatures appear below the central vignette, attributed to the Gerente General and the Presidente of the bank. |

To the left, engravings of the Leyden Plate and a Mayan stela (Ara de Tikal) form a vertical panel over green guilloche work, while a circular medallion to the right of the building reproduces the Ara de Tikal disc motif. A transparent hexagonal polymer window appears at the far right, mirroring the obverse, with Mayan decorative elements in the lower corners. |
