A vignette of the national bird, the resplendent quetzal in flight, appears to the left of centre, flanked by pre-Columbian decorative motifs along the left border and a circular guilloche rosette at upper right. The denomination "1 / UN QUETZAL" is printed in large dark numerals and lettering at centre, with three facsimile signatures below identifying the Presidente, Gerente, and Jefe de la Contraloría de Cuentas. |
