Reverse description The reverse carries a bold, multi-line inscription in large Roman capital letters filling the field, reading QVAT / TRINO / ROM· across three lines, with the date 1738 in the exergue below. A small six-pointed star ornament appears at the top of the field above the first line of the legend. The coin is struck within a beaded inner border consistent with the obverse. The inscription records the denomination (quattrino) and the mint city (Rome), following standard Papal States monetary conventions of the period.
