Obverse description Facing mitred bust of Saint Quirinus, Bishop and patron of Correggio, rendered in a crude hammered style characteristic of small billon coinage of the period. The effigy is shown frontally, wearing a mitre and episcopal vestments, occupying the central field. A circular Latin legend is disposed around the bust, enclosed within a beaded border.
