| Obverse description | Central device features the crowned quartered arms of Castile and León, displayed on a shield surmounted by a royal crown. The shield quarters alternate the castles of Castile and the lions of León, with a pomegranate at the base point. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circular Latin legend running along the outer periphery between the beaded border and the rim. |
