Reverse description The reverse presents a standing allegorical female figure, identified as Religion or Faith, robed in flowing classical drapery and positioned centrally in high relief. She is flanked by two putti, one on each side, with a small papal shield rendered in the lower exergue below the group. The figure holds attributes aloft, and the scene is executed in the refined baroque manner characteristic of Hamerani's workshop. The circular legend A DEO ET PRO DEO surrounds the composition, with the engraver's initials E. H. appearing in the lower field. A finely milled border frames the entire design.
