Obverse description Armored bust of Charles Emmanuel I facing right, wearing a prominent lace ruff collar and richly detailed plate armor, rendered in the Baroque style. The effigy is depicted in high relief with finely engraved curling hair and a short beard. The circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait along the outer rim. The mintmark letter T appears in the lower field beneath the bust truncation.

Reverse description Centrally placed crowned heraldic shield bearing the four-fold arms of Savoy, with the distinctive white cross of Savoy on a red field as the central escutcheon, set within an ornate Baroque cartouche frame. The crown above the shield is rendered with regal detail characteristic of early seventeenth-century Savoyard coinage. The pious Latin motto, referencing divine assistance, is inscribed along the circumference of the coin as a border legend.
