1 Quadrunx

Larinum, a Frentanian town in modern Molise, produced a remarkably limited bronze coinage during the early-to-mid second century BC, almost certainly as a consequence of Roman administrative pressure following the Social War's precursors rather than independent monetary policy. The quadrunx denomination itself — worth four unciae — is unusual for so small an issuing center, suggesting the series was designed to fill a specific transactional gap in regional markets rather than constitute a full civic coinage.

Specimens are genuinely scarce. The Morcom collection reference points to a small corpus of known examples distributed across very few major collections.
