Reverse description Central round hole flanked by two facing lion-head medallions set among olive branches, their manes rendered in fine relief. The Arabic denomination legend arcs above the hole across the upper field, while the numeral 1 appears to the left and right of the central perforation in the mid-field. The legend 1 PIASTRE curves along the lower portion of the field, with the dual date in Western and Arabic-Indic numerals (1936 and ١٩٣٦) displayed along the base, separated by a central ornament. The design is enclosed within a beaded rim.
