| 表面の説明 | Central field bears the Ottoman tughra of Sultan Abdul Hamid II enclosed within a beaded or raised circle. Superimposed upon the design is the countermark of Ali Dinar, Sultan of Darfur, applied by hand stamp and reading in Arabic script 'Ali 1312', referencing his name and the Hijri year of his accession. The countermark may appear on either the obverse or reverse face depending on the individual specimen. The surrounding field shows the worn surfaces typical of circulated nickel silver coinage re-validated for use in the Darfur Sultanate. |
