Description de l’avers	Central field dominated by the toughra of the Mahdi state in flowing calligraphic Arabic script, with the word 'maqbul' (meaning 'accepted') inscribed below the toughra. The denomination numeral '1' and the Arabic abbreviation for qirsh appear beneath in the lower field. The entire design is enclosed within a finely milled border of raised dots, characteristic of Omdurman Mint coinage.

Description du revers	Central field bears the mint name 'Omdurman' (ام درمان) in bold Arabic calligraphy, with the word 'zarb' (struck/minted) above, and the Hijri year '1311' displayed in Arabic-Indic numerals in the lower field, flanked by small decorative rosettes or pellets at either side. The regnal year appears above the date. The design is surrounded by a milled dot border consistent with the obverse.
