| Descrizione del dritto | Central field dominated by the elaborate Ottoman tughra of Sultan Abdul Hamid II, rendered in fine relief with characteristic calligraphic flourishes. The tughra is flanked on either side by stylized floral and foliate branches tied at the base with a ribbon, forming a wreath-like frame. A border of small five-pointed stars encircles the entire design near the milled rim. The denomination in Arabic numeral appears below the tughra within the wreath. The overall composition reflects the Ottoman imperial aesthetic typical of late 19th-century Egyptian coinage. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Central field bears a three-line Arabic inscription reading the regnal year, the mint name, and the Hijri accession year 1293, all enclosed within an ornate wreath of intertwining floral and foliate branches. The reign year (regnal year number) appears prominently in the upper portion of the inscription. Two stars are positioned above the wreath at the top of the field, with additional stars flanking the uppermost element. The reeded rim frames the entire design. The inscription style is consistent with Ottoman-Egyptian official coinage of the Abdul Hamid II era. |
