Reverse description The reverse field is similarly filled with a multi-line Nasta'liq Arabic-script legend arranged across two or three lines, referencing the mint city of Tehran (Dar al-Saltana) and the regnal year. A vertical cartouche or panel divides part of the field on one side, and floral pellet ornaments decorate the spaces between the inscription and the surrounding beaded border. The date 1250 AH appears in the lower portion of the field. The overall style is consistent with Qajar imperial coinage struck at the Tehran mint during the reign of Sultan 'Ali Shah.
