Obverse description Central field occupied by a large, flowing Nastaliq calligraphic legend in Arabic script, rendered in bold relief and filling the majority of the flan. The inscription reads 'al-Sultan ibn al-Sultan Naser al-Din Shah Qajar,' proclaiming the royal titulature of the reigning Qajar monarch. The legend is framed by a decorative border of stylized floral and foliate sprays encircling the coin, typical of mid-nineteenth-century Qajar minting style. The overall composition is purely epigraphic, with no figurative imagery, consistent with Iranian Islamic numismatic tradition.
