The inscription is arranged in three horizontal lines across the flan, with the text 'السلطان ابن السلطان ناصرالدین شاه قاجار' (Sultan son of Sultan, Naser al-Din Shah Qajar). The coin is irregularly shaped with a beaded border partially visible around the periphery, characteristic of hammered Iranian coinage of the Qajar period. The silver surface shows typical die-struck relief with slight weakness at the margins due to the hand-striking technique. |
