Reverse description Central field bears the mint and regnal inscription in Nastaliq script, arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal bar. The upper register reads 'Tabaristan' (طبرستان) and the lower identifies the mint as 'Dar al-Mulk' (seat of the kingdom). The legend is enclosed within a circular border embellished with pellet clusters and stylised floral or grape-cluster ornaments, echoing the decorative scheme of the obverse. The irregular flan edges are consistent with the hand-struck hammered technique employed at Qajar provincial mints during this period.
