| Obverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic-script legend reading 'Sikka-yi Fath Ali Shah Khusraw Sahib-Qiran' (the coin of Fath Ali Shah, king of centuries, Lord of the Auspicious Conjunction), arranged in flowing Nasta'liq calligraphy divided by a horizontal stroke. Floral and foliate arabesques fill the surrounding field, interspersed with decorative rosette motifs. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's periphery. |
