Obverse description Central field dominated by a bold Arabic legend in calligraphic Naskh script, rendered in high relief against a dotted or granulated background. The inscription is enclosed within a plain inner circle, itself surrounded by an outer border of floral or vine scrollwork typical of Durrani-era Afghan coinage. The numerals of the regnal or hijri year appear in the upper portion of the field. The overall style is characteristic of hand-struck provincial issues, with slightly irregular flan edges and variable strike depth.
