Obverse description Central field displays the Augsburg civic counterstamp — a pine cone (Pyr) punch applied within a shield-shaped or oval indent — struck over the original Prague Groschen host coin. The surrounding area retains traces of the underlying Bohemian legend in Gothic uncial script, partially obscured by wear and the force of the counterstamping. The flan is irregular and shows the characteristic uneven surface typical of hammered medieval silver coinage.

Reverse description The reverse displays the Bohemian lion in profile, rampant to the left, with a bifurcated tail — the standard reverse type of the Prague Groschen as struck under the Bohemian royal authority. Remnants of the circular Gothic uncial legend encircle the central device, though significant portions are lost to wear and the coin's irregular edge. The overall surface shows heavy circulation wear consistent with a host coin that was in use prior to counterstamping.
