Obverse description Two applied countermarks of the City of Attendorn, struck over the host coin's field. Each countermark appears as a circular incuse punch containing a stylized letter or symbol, consistent with municipal validation marks of the Westphalian region. The double countermark application indicates official re-validation of the Prague Groschen for local circulation, the punches partially overlapping and impressed with varying depth into the worn silver flan.
