正面描述	The upper portion carries the bank's name in elaborate copperplate script, with a serial number to the upper left. To the left margin, an engraved oval vignette enclosed within decorative scrollwork shows a seated figure of Lady Justice holding scales, with the imprint 'G. Hamon, Jersey' below. The promise-to-pay text and denomination 'ONE POUND' are rendered in a combination of copperplate script and bold letterpress, with the denomination also repeated in an ornamental panel at lower left. The date, place of issue, and a manuscript signature appear in the lower portion of the note.
