| Reverse description | Central device depicts a detailed frontal view of the Egyptian Radio and Television Union building in Cairo, a modernist high-rise tower crowned by a broadcast antenna with radiating signal arms. To the left and right of the tower in the upper field appear the Arabic numerals for the years 1960 and 1985, marking the twenty-fifth anniversary of Egyptian television. The entire design is encircled by an ornamental chain-link or floral border. A small mint mark appears at the base of the central device in the exergue. |
