Obverse description Central vignette presents Colonel R.S.S. Baden-Powell in military uniform flanked by a female allegorical figure on one side and the cannon known as 'Wolf' on the other; artillery crews manning cannons appear at both lateral margins. A flagpole bearing the Union Jack rises prominently in the background, anchoring the composition. The note is produced in a letterpress format with typewritten authorization text occupying the lower portion of the face.
