Reverse description A radiant sun rises above a panoramic Suez Canal scene depicting a large merchant vessel with masts and a globe emblem navigating the canal, alongside a domed building representing a landmark on the canal's bank. Olive and wheat branches frame the scene on the left and right respectively, symbolising peace and prosperity. In the lower exergue, an oval cartouche bears the date '5 يونية 1975' (5 June 1975), the date of the canal's reopening. The commemorative legend 'ذكرى اعادة فتح قناة السويس' (Jubilee of the Reopening of the Suez Canal) arcs across the upper field in Arabic script. The design is enclosed within a reeded border.
