Reverse description Central device comprises the heraldic shield of the National Planning Institute of Egypt, depicted within a rectangular frame surmounted by an Arabic inscription reading 'Ma'had al-Takhtit al-Qawmi' (National Planning Institute). The shield features a radiant sunburst design above a grid pattern symbolizing planning and development, with a cogwheel at the base. The foundation year 1960 appears in Eastern Arabic numerals to the upper right of the shield, and 1985 to the upper left, marking the silver jubilee. Below the shield, a curved Arabic legend reads 'al-Yubil al-Fiddi' (Silver Jubilee). The rim is bordered by the same segmented decorative inner border as the obverse.
