正面描述	Plain unadorned note printed entirely in black letterpress on cream paper, with no vignette or decorative underprint. The denomination '£1 (Una Libra.)' appears at upper left, flanked on both sides by the serial number prefix 'A' in the upper corners. The central text body carries the full legal tender declaration in italic script over the name 'The Government of Gibraltar' set in bold display type, with the signature designation 'Colonial Treasurer' at lower right and a statutory note referencing Ordinance 10 of 1914 along the bottom margin.
正面铭文	Gibraltar, 6th August, 1914. £ 1 (Una Libra.) The Government of Gibraltar hereby declares this Note to be of the value of ONE POUND and to be legal tender for that amount, and undertakes to redeem the said note in sterling money for the full face value at a date to be fixed hereafter by His Excellency the Governor. Colonial Treasurer. N.B. - This note is issued under the provisions of Ordinance 10 of 1914, and is secured by the said Ordinance on the assets and general Revenue of the Colony.
