| Beschrijving keerzijde | A solemn commemorative design honouring Remembrance Day, featuring nine vibrantly coloured red poppies arranged across the right portion of the coin, their colour applied by selective enamelling technique. The left portion of the reverse displays strands of barbed wire rendered in precise relief, evoking the imagery of the First World War battlefields. The emotive legend LEST WE FORGET arcs across the upper field, while the face value £1 appears at the lower portion of the design. The composition unites the symbols of sacrifice and remembrance within a restrained yet powerful artistic arrangement. |

Alderney, a Crown Dependency with its own issuing authority but no central bank, has produced commemorative coinage since 1989 largely through the Royal Mint under licensing arrangements. The Remembrance series targets the collector market directly — these pieces do not circulate and were never intended to. KM#301 is one of several silver issues Alderney released around the centenary period of the First World War's conclusion.
