Reverse description Plain white reverse with printed conditions of use in two columns. Left column contains three lettered clauses (a, b, c) outlining redemption regulations under The Post Office Act 1969. Right column headed IMPORTANT provides counterfoil retention instructions with fields for office, crossed status, and payee. P.O.C.L. imprint appears at foot of centre column.
Reverse lettering This Order is issued in accordance with the relevant Scheme or Schemes under section 28 of The Post Office Act 1969.

Please note the following:
a. It is recommended that an Order is crossed whenever possible. A crossed Order will only be paid through a bank.
b. Payment may be refused and the Order impounded if it has any erasures, alterations, or is cut, defaced or mutilated.
c. If not cashed within six months after the last day of the month of issue, this Order should be referred to a post office for enquiry.

The sender must fill in the name of the payee, and is recommended to fill in the office of payment when required. Payment of postage stamps in excess of 49 pence may be refused.
Evidence of identity must be provided if requested by the paying officer.
