Reverse description The reverse presents conjoined busts of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin facing left, their profiles overlapping in a symbolic composition commemorating the peace accord. A dove of peace with an olive branch in its beak is depicted to the left of the busts, symbolising the treaty. The effigies are framed by a wreath of olive branches arching across the upper field. Below the busts, a two-line Arabic legend records the commemorative inscription, with the date '٢٦ مارس ١٩٧٩' (26 March 1979) centred between the two lines. The design is enclosed by a dentilated inner border and a dashed outer rim consistent with the obverse.
