| 表面の説明 | Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left, modeled in low relief after the portrait by Glyn Davies. The sovereign's name and issuing authority appear in the surrounding legend, with the date and denomination incorporated into the design. The field is clean and unadorned, emphasizing the portrait in a contemporary numismatic style. |

Issued by Jersey to mark the centenary of the Royal British Legion's poppy appeal, which was formalized in 1921 after American activist Moina Michael first proposed the red poppy as a symbol of remembrance following the publication of John McCrae's "In Flanders Fields." The RBL adopted it almost immediately, with Frenchwoman Anna Guérin organizing the first mass sale in Britain that same year.
The bimetallic construction — .925 silver core set within a gold-plated .925 silver ring — is a technical elaboration unusual for a one-pound denomination from this issuer.
