Obverse description Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left, rendered in high relief within the bimetallic centre, after the portrait by Martin Jennings. The circumferential legend in the outer brass ring reads CHARLES III · KING OF GIBRALTAR, with the denomination £1 and date 2026 also inscribed in the ring. A small Tower Mint privy mark appears at the base of the ring below the portrait.

The commemorative legend arcs around the outer brass ring reading 100 YEARS SINCE THE BIRTH OF OUR BELOVED QUEEN, with the date range · 1926 - 2026 · inscribed at the base of the ring. The legend ONE POUND is repeated continuously in small lettering around the inner edge of the outer ring.
