| 备注 |
British Armed Forces Special Vouchers — universally called BAFSVs — were introduced at the end of the Second World War specifically to restrict servicemen's spending power in occupied territories and prevent sterling from leaking into local black markets. The 1st series was authorised in 1946 and circulated exclusively within NAAFI canteens, military transit depots, and on-base facilities, rendering the notes worthless outside the controlled military environment.
De La Rue printed the series to a high security standard despite its deliberately limited circulation life. The vouchers were regularly replaced with new series precisely to defeat counterfeiting and hoarding — a practice that makes intact 1st series survivors genuinely uncommon.
