| 备注 |
Barclays DCO — the vehicle created by the 1925 merger of Colonial Bank, Anglo-Egyptian Bank, and National Bank of South Africa — needed a unified note issue almost immediately after formation. This 1 Pound series was among the first to carry the consolidated Barclays brand across multiple African and Caribbean territories, with the place of payment varying by branch overprint rather than by separate plate design. Bradbury Wilkinson's New Malden facility handled the print run throughout the series.
The precise territories covered by P#S141 affect value considerably — overprints for smaller island branches are meaningfully scarcer than the main West African issues.
