备注	The Bank of Auckland was a short-lived provincial institution, chartered in 1864 and absorbed into the Bank of New Zealand by 1867. This note falls squarely in that narrow window of independent operation — likely fewer than three years of actual issue before the merger rendered the entire series obsolete. New Zealand's colonial banking environment in the 1860s was crowded and unstable. Several note-issuing banks collapsed or were consolidated during this decade, and surviving examples from the smaller Auckland-based issuers are correspondingly rare.
