| Aanvullende informatie |
Issued to mark the centenary of Al-Ahlia Insurance Company, founded in 1900 as one of Egypt's earliest domestically established insurers. The commemorative program Egypt ran through the late 1990s and early 2000s produced dozens of similar silver pounds honoring institutions and anniversaries, which has kept secondary market demand for any individual type modest.
