Reverse description The reverse is dominated by two large multicolour guilloche rosettes positioned symmetrically at left and right, set against an intricate engine-turned blue underprint that fills the entire field. The issuer's name, "NATIONAL BANK OF LIBYA", is inscribed in a curved panel at the top centre, with the denomination "ONE LIBYAN POUND" in bold letterpress at centre. Legal tender and royal authority clauses appear in smaller text below the denomination, and the numeral "1" is repeated in each corner within ornamental cartouches.
